The 2013 Vietnam Citi Microentrepreneurship Awards 2013 (CMA 2013) is an annual global activity, funded by Citi Foundation/ Citibank Vietnam to 
recognize and honor the microentrepreneurs with initiatives in using loans effectively, the outstanding credit officers and the typical microfinance institutions that have significantly contributed to the implementation of the Construction and Development of sustainable microfinance system Project in Vietnam until the year 2020, contribute to the reduction of poverty in the country.
The CMA program has been held annually since 2007 by Vietnam Microfinance Working Group Vietnam (VMFWG) in coordination with Citi Foundation/ Citibank Vietnam, Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME), and with the support of State Bank of Vietnam. The CMA has recognized the contributions of 310 typical microentrepreneurs, 109 excellent credit staffs, and more than 40 typical microfinance institutions in Vietnam.
Candidates in the microfinance institutions/ programs need to complete the application form, and send it to the CMA 2013 Organizing Committee before 20/06/2013, as follow:
• Number of applications: 2 – for Micro Entrepreneurs and 2 – for Credit Officers (due to the selection of 2 candidates by their organization), 1 – for organizations;
• A soft copy of application should be sent to the CMA 2013 Organizing Committee by email: bantochuccma2013@gmail.com;
• The original of the CMA 2013 application should be sent by mail to the Office of VMFWG before 20/06/2013 (based on the date of postmark).
The Jury of the CMA 2013 will announce the list of candidates before 30/08/2013 on VMFWG website (www.microfinance.vn)
