The advocacy Workshop on financial education for young people in Vietnam

Sponsored by Citi Foundation, Save the Children Organization has conducted the project of financial Education in Vietnam from 2009. This is a totally free education program for teenagers about concept of money and how to manage money wisely, efficiently. With interactive and suitable syllabus for the youth, the program provides skills related to money making, spending, saving, financial planning and banking services using. Not only useful in the current phase, the program also helps high school and university students to better prepare for future life by increasing knowledge of the value of money and labor, therefore, reducing risks in their financial decisions.

As a pioneered group in implementing Financial Education project for youth in Vietnam, Save the Children organized the policy advocacy Workshop on Financial education for young people in Vietnam. This workshop aims to raise awareness about the importance of Financial Education with the youth, share experiences from the similar project models of agencies and organizations in Vietnam, which are being deployed; look for opportunities to expand Financial education activities for future youth through efforts to advocacy and towards the establishment of groups and organizations working in Financial Education in Vietnam
